From the Artist: One thing I continuously try to do is step outside of my comfort zone and challenge myself in some way. All That She Carries started with the idea that I would create her dress from a collage. I knew I wanted it to feel big and heavy, but I had no idea how the piece would actually turn out. I just kept going.
I wanted her to feel symbolic and fierce. Like she was literally carrying the weight of the world with her and still somehow looked beautiful doing it. Her dress is made up of different pieces, textures, places, and fragments, but together they become part of something beautiful.
